Henry Is 5 Months Old!

I know other things happened between Henry turning (a belated) 4 months and him turning (once again, belated) 5 months, but man I can't seem to keep up with this! :)

I finally downloaded pictures from my phone to the computer, so here we go!

Henry is five months old (officially, 5 1/2, but who's counting?)

He is so very precious, and is such a joy! He's able to reach for stuff and actually get it, and he's trying so hard to sit up! (No dice, though.) He also tackled a lot of "firsts" this month...

FIRST HAIRCUT

I don't know what "style" he'll have once he's a little boy, but he had so many long whispy hairs, that we decided to make it all even.

It turned out really well! I'm glad that Steve knows how to use the razor, because I did not!

FIRST PLAYDATE

Okay, not sure if this counts, but we got to watch my friend's baby girl, Piper, and she was adorable! Henry was a little enamored to have her in his crib, and he get reaching for her face.

FIRST FOOD

Ah, the difference between Baby #1 and Baby #3...when Bella was given her first food, it was rice cereal and the whole episode was very well documented! For Henry, we were sitting at a Mexican restaurant last week, and Steve gave him a little bit of avocado on his finger.

We're pretty sure Henry is destined to be our completely spoiled child. :) He's so calm and happy; I'm curious to see how his toddler years go. He has made the transition from two to three kids so much easier because of his disposition.

DADDY'S FIRST BUSINESS TRIP (Since Henry was born...)

Steve was gone in Tennessee for two weeks this month. We actually survived pretty well! Henry slept in our bed all week, which made it a lot easier to wake up in the middle of the night. I was chauffeuring the girls around for swim lessons during the day, but everyone did well, and we made it by ourselves.

Snuggling with mama at night...

We'll see if this loads...Daddy getting to say hello after his long trip!

Love you, Little Man!
