Summer Vacation In Oscoda

This year, we got to go to Michigan to spend the week with Steve's family in Oscoda. We love this trip! It's a chance to spend a relaxing week with sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews, Grandma, and Grandpa. There's just nothing like it! Steve calls it "camping with walls", and it's true...there is a cluster of simple little cabins, right on the beach...nothing fancy, but so much fun!

 

This year, Steve and I wanted to take a day and spend some time with just our family. So, somewhere in these pictures is a mix of our day together. We celebrated Father's Day, our anniversary, and a whole lot of beach time during that week, too. There were family dinners, s'mores by the fire, swimming, fishing, and ice cream! (And wind...lots and lots of wind!)

Henry's 8 Month Pictures

We just got back from Oscoda when Henry turned 8 months old! It doesn't seem possible that he's been here that long! He has two bottom teeth now, which I thought would be painful while nursing, but it hasn't been too bad!

 

And, sorry Little Man, but you're the 3rd baby, and this post is about three months late, so the only updates I have is that you're still adorable.

 

Oh, wait! I do have one...this month, I started to notice that one of Henry's eyes doesn't track with the other one. I really don't think he's had it since birth, but now that I've noticed it, it's geeking me out. I'm counting the days until his 9-month check-up, so that I can ask the pediatrician.

 

Okay, other than that, he's still unbelievably adorable! He's got some wicked bed head in these pictures, because I've been having fun with hair gel, and he woke up like this!

 

 

We love him. We just absolutely adore his small little-ness!
